Q: Who are we?
A: We are the largest family-owned dental laboratory in the United Kingdom, with nearly four decades of experience in providing comprehensive dental services. Currently, we are undergoing substantial growth and expanding our production facilities by an additional 38,000 square feet. Within our facility, we have invested in cutting-edge production equipment, including a Röders milling machine and state-of-the-art printers, enabling us to 3D print exceptionally natural-looking dentures in a single piece. Notably, we will be the first in the UK to have a Röders milling machine capable of crafting components with the precision required for a Rolex watch and implant components.

A: You're free to choose any scanner of your choice. We have a team of specialists that can help you understand the correct scanner for your practice.

Q: What if I already have a scanner in my practice?
A: Our philosophy is that there should be one scanner per chair. We’ve done our due diligence and have identified a scanner that reaches our high expectations, whilst coming in as our lowest commitment entry point. We believe you can benefit even more from another scanner.

Q: Can scanners I currently have be used to fulfil my commitment?
A: Yes, scans from any scanners you have purchased, can be used to contribute towards your commitment, as can physical impressions

Q: How long is the duration of the contract?
A: Contract durations are flexible, tailored to your needs, from one to five years. We suggest that a 5-year duration is ideal, as it enables you to distribute your commitment, maintaining it at a manageable level.

Q: Is it possible to cancel the contract?
A: Yes, you can cancel at any time. A ten percent cancellation fee will be applied to the outstanding SwiftPlus Total Contract Value balance, and you will then be responsible for settling the finance directly with Performance Finance, the financial entity. This cost is always lower than purchasing directly from a distributor because Swift sells the equipment at the lowest price we receive from the distributor based on large order quantities, passing the savings directly to you. Please note, Swift Dental Group does not profit from the sale of scanners.

Q: Is it possible to complete my commitment before the contract ends?
A: Yes, you can fulfil your commitment before the end of the contract. For example, if you have a 5-year commitment at £1000 per month, the total contract value is £60,000. If you overcommit by an average of £2000 worth of lab work per month, you will reach the £60,000 total contract value in half the time. However, we add 10% to the total contract value for early settlement, bringing it to £66,000. This amount includes all early settlement fees with the financial entity, allowing you to finalise everything and take your scanner without any further payments.

Q: A £1000 commitment over 60 months amounts to £60,000. Isn't that a lot for a £12,000 scanner?
A: The commitment varies based on the cost of the scanner, but the principle remains the same. Swift is sacrificing margin to pay for the equipment for you. However, to cover that sacrifice, there must be a commitment to offset it.
The principle of SwiftPlus is that you can have a scanner at no additional cost. Over a 60-month period, you will spend over £60,000 regardless, and in return, you get the lab work. With SwiftPlus, you commit to spending £60,000 during that period, and you receive a £12,000 scanner.
Alternatively, if you were to consider the same period and purchase a scanner yourself, your expenditure would be at least £72,000. This is because you would not be getting the scanner at our discounted prices and, if financed, you would also be paying interest. This is how you effectively get the scanner for free with SwiftPlus.

Q: How can I reduce my monthly payments?
A: You can lower your monthly scanner commitment to as little as five hundred pounds by placing a deposit. We completely tailor it to your needs.

Q: What happens if I don't meet my monthly spending commitment?
A: If you spend less than your commitment on lab work, the shortfall rolls over to the next month for the duration of the contract.
