Firstly, we would like to apologise for not issuing an update to you last week. We were receiving various updates from the government throughout the week and wanted to get a clear picture before issuing any announcement.

As you may have seen, the Chief Dental Officer, Sara Hurley, published a letter on Friday outlining plans for the resumption of dental services in England starting from 8th June. [https://www.england.nhs.uk/coronavirus/wp-content/uploads/sites/52/2020/03/Urgent-dental-care-letter-28-May.pdf]

We have therefore taken the decision to reopen all sites within the group to incoming orders from Monday 8th June.

Whilst this does not mean that everyone will return to their roles immediately, we are excited that we can slowly start to bring colleagues back into the business from next week.

This reintroduction to the lab may take many weeks or months to complete, but as of Monday 8th June, you may be asked to return to your role with immediate effect at short notice. If you are unable to do so, then please let us know.

We will continue to keep you updated of any further developments and look forward to welcoming you back!

If you would like to discuss any of the points raised in this update, please contact the Group HR Manager, Natalie Baines, via email on natalie@swiftdental.co.uk

Many thanks,

Roy & Mark
